This weekend, the Youth Ministry Committee sends forth
its final group of Young Neighbors in Action participants to
Buffalo, NY, and because the parish has been so supportive
of their efforts to make the trip, we have one more simple request:
Your prayers.

Pray that these young teens, and their adult leaders, witness
Christ in themselves and the people they serve while
sharing their faith, talents and compassion with the Buffalo
community: Destiny Arevalo, Emma Avery, Renee Beaudoin,
Samantha Brehmer, Brendan Carr, Madison Carter, Jessica
Compoy, Megan Forbis, Jenna Gaydos, Kendall Holley, Antonio
Konja, Anaya Lechnar, Emily Maynor, Declan McAfee,
Roselyn Menna, Ben Misovich, Elizabeth Misovich, Thomas
Molter, Angela Nappo, Ed O’Neil, Ryan Perkins, Val Poma,
Anna Randt, Lillian Ranspach, Jessica Resst, Johanna Roa,
Raymond Smith, David and Samantha Thompson, Ben Trela
and Destiny Vargas. The adult leaders this trip are Therese
Tardiff, Tim Kozlo, Paul Lechnar, Dan McAfee, Mark Misovich
and Julie Thompson.

They are part of the more than 90 youth and adults who are taking part in YNIA (high school) and Just5Days (middle school) this summer. Both community service programs are sponsored by the Center for Ministry Development, bringing together teens from across the country to help churches, social agencies and organizations. This could mean sprucing up properties inside and out or caring for children, veterans and senior citizens. Each week of service is a unique experience.

Thank you for your prayers for the teens who are back
from YNIA Cleveland and Buffalo, and J5D St. Joseph. Youth
Ministry is blessed to have your support.
